Estimate your puppy's adult weight and track whether they're growing on schedule — based on breed-size growth curves used by veterinary practices.
Puppies don't grow at a constant rate. Small breeds reach adult size by 8–10 months. Medium breeds by 12 months. Large breeds by 18 months. Giant breeds can keep growing until 24 months.
The most common milestone vets use: at 8 weeks, most medium-breed puppies are at roughly 25% of their adult weight. At 16 weeks, around 50%. This tool uses those proportional curves adjusted for size class.
If your puppy is significantly above or below the estimated curve, consult your vet — growth outliers can indicate nutrition, parasites, or breed-specific conditions.
